Flanders South is a 1,7 hectare fully secure and enclosed domain located just outside the city limits, next to Kragga Kamma Game Park, a short drive from the airport and from Sardinia Bay Beach. The property has a beautiful garden and tennis court, in secure privacy. To do: horse riding, golf, hiking, biking, tennis, beach activities, shopping ... Restaurants, amenities, hospitals and 5 golf courses nearby. When outside, you can enjoy peaceful strolls through the property garden with beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers in different seasons, or enjoy a game of tennis. The prime estate is highly secured for your peace of mind. Security details available on request. Caretaker Dennis lives on the estate, and will be your host and guide during your stay.

Arvid and Natascha, both born in the seventies, acquired the property a few years ago. They are from the region of Eastern Flanders, in Belgium, Europe. They named the place "Flanders South". Arvid and Natascha consider the place as their home away from home, and since they are dividing their time between Europe and South-Africa, they offer other people the chance to enjoy the property while they are in Europe. The grounds are therefore available for limited periods and for select guests. Dennis is the caretaker and he will welcome and guide guests around. Dennis will be the local point of contact, while Arvid will handle administrative questions from a distance. We like to consider our guests as friends and relatives, and will strive to make you feel welcome and at home.

Theescombe is a rural neighborhood, just outside the Port Elizabeth city limits. Residents are friendly. Do not be surprised if a total stranger says hi or invites you over for a braai after just having met you for half an hour. After all, Port Elizabeth is nicknamed 'the Friendly City' Plots are way larger and greener than in the city. A lot of owners have large gardens or meadows, ideal to keep horses. There is a small vineyard just a stone's throw from Flanders South. Activities to enjoy to do in the vicinity: horse riding, golf, hiking, biking, tennis, beach activities, whale watching, shooting, paintball, shopping, and many more ... Several restaurants, takeaways, amenities, hospitals in proximity. 6 golf courses (three 18-hole courses including a true championship links course and three 9-hole courses) within a 25km radius. The use of a car as a means of transport is highy advisable. Port Elizabeth (as a part of the larger Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality) is a city with over 1 million residents, but traffic is surprisingly light with little to no congestion, as opposed to Cape Town or Johannesburg for example. Nearly all locations, activities, malls, shops, restaurants or sights within the area are reachable by car in less than half an hour . Rideshares such as Uber or Bolt are active in the area with short to moderate waiting times. We do NOT recommend using buses as a means of public transportation for visitors or tourists.
