Forestiva farm is a private nature reserve along the Hennops River and features mountain terrain, grasslands and river frontage. We offer accommodation, camping, hiking and host events for nature and wilderness enthusiasts. Situated along the Hennops River is a little rondavel nestled in natural wilderness of the Crocodile River Reserve. The self catering thatched roof cottage sleeps two and has a large lounge and dining, kitchen, bath and bedroom with wooden floors, just a stones throw from the river. Expect total relaxation with the sounds of the river and the natural beauty of the Magaliesberg Biosphere. The Cottage is far removed and secluded with your own fenced in private space and entrance. You have access to 350 ha of African wilderness where you can go hike, mountain bike, climb, fish, kayak, bird and game watch in a private game reserve. As a guest you will have access to the Lapa which features a hot tub, fire pit, braai space, teppanyaki and large dining table situated close to the cottage. The Lapa is a shared area and might be used by hikers as a starting and ending point of the trails. Please note: The hot tub is solar heated and dependent and weather conditions. Immerse yourself into the wild, relax in a tranquil natural environment and go hunt that thirst for adventure. Removed from any amenities you find yourself free as a bird. Forget the concrete jungle and follow us into the cradle of the Crocodile River Reserve. Accessible by regular car, though we recommend a vehicle with higher clearance for ease of travel, but not necessary if driven carefully. ​Entrance or exit to the property can be an adventure on its own. Depending if the river is flooding, usually only in summer, you might have to access via our back entrance. We will confirm closer to check in if you need to take the alternative route. Forestiva Farm is a nature reserve, there is a possibility you will encounter wildlife, insects, reptiles, etc which we have no control over.

Situated in the Rhenosterspruit Conservancy we are a part of Crocodile River Reserve and the Magaliesberg Biosphere, which has been categorised as an irreplaceable biodiversity area.
