Property info

Fountain Baths is situated at the foot of the Makhonjwa Mountains. Fountain Baths was built in 1884, and we have the first swimming pool in the Old Transvaal. Situated in town with the feel of being secluded and out of town. We have a quint pub on the premises, promising good conversation and relaxation. Dusty Tracks Off Road adventures operates from here and can give you the best thing you can do with your day, 4x4 tours, gold panning and historical mine visits.

Neighborhood info

Situated on the edge of Barberton CBD, the government museum is next door to us, the private mining and history museum just a walk away. Grocery store just up the street as well as the local Pizzeria - Greenstone Trading- a short distance. In town there are several take out places that deliver to Fountain Baths. We live in a quiet, relaxed neighborhood, you will feel at home. You can also relax next to the pool or have a cold drink at our on site pub... For the more adventurous we also have Dusty Tracks Off Road adventures on the premises where you can book full or half day mountain trips into the Makhonjwa mountains...or explore the self drive GeoTrail, South Africa's youngest UNESCO site!
