I have been the owner of Guesthouse Aberdour, since March 2017, after previously owning another guesthouse for 4 years. I enjoy meeting guests from around South Africa and from other countries. I love to make my guests feel at home, make sure they are informed about all the things we have to offer in our beautiful city and to assist with recommendations for wherever they travelling to next. I love travelling and hiking, reading and music.

Aberdour Guesthouse is situated in an quiet upmarket neighbourhood, close to the beachfront, offering comfortable self catering accommodation in a tranquil garden setting. Our garden cottages and en-suite rooms all have private entrance and kitchenette. We are centrally situated in the entertainment hub and beachfront area of Port Elizabeth. We are a five minute drive from the airport and minutes away from historical Central. Your host, Neil and his staff, hopes to welcome you to the friendly city of Nelson Mandela Bay. He has been in the hospitality industry for many years and will do his utmost to make your stay pleasant and comfortable.

Neighborhood info

Aberdour Guesthouse is situated within walking distance to the beachfront where you will find stunning blue flag beaches, amazing restaurants, casino and our boardwalk with its musical fountains. The area of Central, provides many historical buildings, landmarks and museums. We are within one hour's drive to the world renowned Addo National Elephant Park (a must see) and various other private game reserves. Jeffreys Bay (JBay) is also about an hour's drive.
