After running a small B&B in Durban we were blessed with the opportunity to own and run this beautiful guesthouse in the Kwazulu-Natal Midlands. Hawklee Country House has for the past 30 years established an loyal patronage of wonderful guests are like family and who keep returning to this "home-away-from-home" (apologies for the cliche but it is so true). We love meeting and interacting with the guests from all walks of life hope to leave people feeling a little better about themselves and God Creation when they leave here. We really try not to be a "HOTEL" and work had at the personal touches you wont find anywhere else.

There are also no less than 3 nationally accredited 18-hole golf courses around Hawklee and the Anglo-Zulu war battlefields and a stone’s throw away with the magnificent Drakensburg on our door stop and the Sani pass. Take a hike of 5 km at Giants Castle a mere 45 minutes away and see Bushman's paintings Scenic walks can be done nearby and a short river walk on the property while you admire the beautiful bird life we are privileged to see.
