Tucked away in the heart of the malaria-free Waterberg, near Vaalwater, our story began long before we owned a lodge. Marco and I first came to South Africa on holiday and like so many others, we left a piece of our hearts behind. The open landscapes, the golden sunsets, wildlife, and peaceful bushveld kept calling us back. After many unforgettable visits, we found our 270 hectares that we now call our home away from home. We instantly knew this was where our next chapter would begin. After an extensive and loving renovation, we opened our lodge to share this special place with other families, friends, adventurers and dreamers looking for space, privacy and nature. Our lodge is exclusively yours during your stay, whether you come to relax under the African sky, explore the surroundings of Vaalwater, enjoy hiking and mountain biking, or simply gather with family and friends around a fire in the boma. While the lodge is self-catering, we are happy to arrange private chef services for a truly relaxed experience. We can also assist with airport transfers.
