Hillmoor Stone Cottage was origionally built by Fred Southey in 1896 and recently renovated by the current owners, Ivan and Brenda Dell. It is centrally situated in SA on the R56, a stones throw off the main routes between Durban - Cape Town and JHB - PE - EL. It has 3 en suit bedrooms, an open plan kitchen and living area and a separate sun room / studio for those who want a bit of time out.

I am a Qualified Pharmacist and married to Ivan, a Karoo sheep farmer. We have two daughters. We have our own registered abattoir on the farm where we slaughter and pack our naturally produced lambs and transport them directly to house wives all over SA. This lamb is also for sale off the farm by prior arrangement. We both enjoy meeting new and interesting people through the guest house.

We offer peace and tranquility away from the rush of the cities, star gazing around our fire pit, walking and cycling. The Orange - Fish River water scheme comes out at Stensburg offering many farmers irrigation ground. There are plenty of naturally found Springbuck in this area.
