Kaoxa Bush Camp sits between sandstone ridges in the Limpopo Valley, inside a World Heritage Site. You can climb the rocky hills right from camp, and a short walk gets you to one of the finest San rock art shelters in Limpopo. We get elephants around camp often, walking their old migration routes between South Africa and Botswana, and there's plenty of other game around too. The baobabs here are ancient, some centuries old, and there are some interesting plants alongside them in the Mopane veld. At night the sky is incredible no light pollution for miles.

We are crazy about the bush and have spent years trying to protect this beautiful place.

We are next to Mapungubwe , about a 10 minute drive from gate to gate. The fences are mostly down and so we share a lot of the game.
