Kubu Lodge is a privately own holiday home, located within the Kruger Park Lodge. Kubu is spacious and offers beautiful open plan kitchen which flows into the dining and lounge area. The French doors in the lounge lead out to the undercover deck. The bedrooms are a treat, with white linens, comfy beds and extra pillows, ceiling fan and air con. Each room has its own bathroom. Kubu Chalet is open and spacious and undoubtably one of the premium chalets in the Kruger Park Lodge. A highlight is the undercover BBQ deck, perfect for those summer storms. Another feature is the mosquito nettings on the doors and windows. We are one of the very few properties to offer this - and trust me, on hot summer nights, you can throw the windows wide open for that gentle cool breeze and be protected by the netting. All our rooms have fans and each guest room has an air oon to keep you cool in summer. Our housekeeper comes in each morning for a quick once over and makes the beds and tidies the kitchen, so you, can get on with your holiday. When you don't feel like cooking, there is G's Bistro & Grill, offering a good selection on their menu and is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner - it is a 10 minute walk along the Sabie River from Kubu Lodge. And when those hot summer days are showing off, then grab a Pool Towel at reception and make your way to one of the three resort pools. The Hippo Hide is a a must for sunet ! Pack your sundowners and take a stroll to the Hide and as the sun sets, you can watch the hippos come out the water and make their way across to the neigbouring farm to forage. There are gorgeous walks on the estate, from the Forest Trail, to the Ravine and Hippo Walk alongside the Sabie River. The Travel Desk is found in the Reception area and will assist with 4x4 Safari bookings into the Kruger National Park. The Phabeni Kruger access gate is 10kms away. Kubu Lodge does not offer WIFI inhouse.

We are situated in Hazyview, with the Kruger National Park is only a 10 minute drive away, to access through the Phabeni Gate (Identification / Passports are required for the Kruger). Hazyview offers a well-stocked supermarket for all grocery essentials, coffee bars, a steakhouse and pizzeria.
