Kwaggaskop Kliphuis is a peaceful break away from the city rush. It is situated on a working farm with timber and cattle and access is via a 5km gravel road. It is a renovated 100 year old stone house with a big north facing door filling the house with sun and views. A main feature is an ancient Oak tree guarding over the house and its people. An outside room with a braai is ideal for gatherings and socializing. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a sliding door letting nature in if you are adventurous. An outside geyser or "donkey" is stoked for hot water and the drinking water is so pure and sweet, you will want to take some home. The nights are very special and the stars very bright. There is a dam that offers bass fishing. Forest walks, mountain biking and picnics by the stream are some of the activities that are offered. There is a wood stove for cold winter evenings. The night sounds of jackal, birds and frogs sometimes disturb the silence but resonates with wildness of the farm.
