“Well located for access to Hoedspruit and the local Game Reserves. Lovely villa, tastefully decorated and stylishly furnished. Nice to be able to go in to the wilderness area to see what animals were around. Our hostess was great.”

The air-conditioned property features 3 spacious bedrooms and 2.5 modern bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. The heart of the villa is the open-plan living area, seamlessly opening onto a large outdoor patio and wooden deck with a private outdoor dipping pool, comfortable sun loungers, and a traditional South African braai (BBQ) area. An outdoor boma fire pit invites you to spend unforgettable evenings under the starlit Lowveld sky.

We’re LaVelda and Claudia. The way we met was ,wild‘. Coming from two entirely different backgrounds in California (U.S.) and the Black Forest (Germany) we first crossed paths during a FGASA course in South Africa in 2017. There’s been this bond ever since, a common ground: our shared love for the African bush, its conservation and the big dream to — one day — make it a home. Now here we are. At LALA LODGE.

LALA LODGE is situated within a gated resort with 24-hour security. In the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, and warthogs roam freely. Guests can explore the estate for free on foot, by bicycle, or on a self-drive safari. A complimentary safari kit with binoculars and nature guidebooks is provided for your use. Kruger National Park: The world-famous reserve is easily accessible for day trips and Big Five safaris. Airport Proximity: Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) is just 9 km away. Surroundings: Drakensig Golf Club (5.9 km), Kinyonga Reptile Centre (16 km), and the Timbavati and Olifants West private reserves are within easy reach. Hoedspruit town centre, with its premium restaurants and supermarkets, is only 1 km away.
