The cottage is on a small farm with donkeys, horses and sheep. With a beautiful view of the sea (the Maitlands Beach) and the Lady Slipper mountains. Surrounded by nature, you can spot some wildlife or just enjoy the tranquility. The cottage is fully self-catering with everything you need. incl. washing machine and dishwasher. It has 2 bedrooms with onsuite bathrooms. A beautiful covered outdoor terrace with a fireplace invites you to grill and chill. There is also a covered outdoor bathtub on the deck.

We are a German family with 2 children who emigrated to South Africa in 2017. After we found our dream farm here in Maitlands and adopted a few animal residents, the former staff house was converted into a holiday cottage at the end of 2018. This was then completed in March 2019.

In the vicinity is Maitlands Beach with a beautiful sandy beach. The Ladyslipper mountains are about 10 km away. There are various smaller and larger game parks in the vicinity. A large shopping center is 15 minutes away. The port and downtown PE can be reached in about 30 minutes.
