Welcome to Mathys se Hys. Nestled in the heart of the Northern Cape, Springbok, our one-bedroom apartment offers a private stay in one of South Africa’s most breathtaking regions. With its own entrance, en-suite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, this little gem is perfect for couples, solo travellers, or anyone looking to slow down and soak in the beauty of Namaqualand. The open-plan living space is light and airy, with all the comforts of home—free WiFi, Netflix for those slow evenings, and thoughtful touches to make your stay relaxing and memorable after enjoying the beautiful nature scenery of our town. This space is perfect for an overstay when tired of traveling long distances or when in the area for a short visit. We have safe parking on the premises - please consult us prior to arrival should you be needing more than one parking space for a caravan or trailer.
Our space is dedicated to our little boy, Mathys, who brings so much joy and light into our lives. He's the reason we pour our hearts into creating a warm and welcoming space for our guests.
In springtime, the surrounding landscapes transform into a sea of vibrant colour as the famous Namaqua flowers bloom—an unforgettable sight that draws nature lovers from all over. We feel incredibly lucky to live in this part of the world, and we’re excited to share it with you.
