We have had the honour of owning this unique property since 1998. We employ four full time staff to ensure that Meyerhof is always ready to receive guests. We love socializing with our guests but will never impose on your privacy. We have lived in Cape Town all our lives and are very familiar with all it can offer visitors. Meyerhof Accommodation in Meyer St. Plumstead, is located 5 minutes by vehicle from MEDICLINIC CONSTANTIABERG HOSPITAL. Optional TRANSPORT to and from the MEDICLINIC FACILITY is provided and included in our accommodation rates. Our home Meyerhof, is a Cape Dutch farmhouse built in 1814. A historic and unique, thatched home with associated self catering apartments and a studio. The property has multiple outside, furnished relaxation and social areas in the eclectic and large, lush garden. This includes two pools, two gazebo covered areas within a terrace and a courtyard as well as several braai/barbeque opportunities in varied spaces. Each of the character accommodations - Dove Cottage, Palm Place, Bare Tree, Three Trees, Royz Room, Meyer Room, Sager Room and Serenity Suite offer up to 2 guests a comfortable, homely environment, with different designs in furnishings and decor, honouring aspects of the history of the property. Meyerhof is located only 10 minutes' drive from the edges of the Constantia Valley Wine Route. Groot Constantia, Eagles Nest, Constantia Glen and Beau Constantia Wine Estates. City Sightseeing Cape Town, open top buses run from within or outside these farms. Buitenverwachting and Klein Constantia Wine farms are also very accessible, situated on the other side of the most historic Groot Constantia.

Meyerhof is very centrally located for the city's tourist attractions, within sight of Table Mountain and only 10 to 15 minutes from the edge of the stunning Constantia Valley Wine Route. Eight premier wine farms, offering tours, tastings, wine purchases, restaurants and fine dining experiences. The City Sightseeing Cape Town, open top tourist bus service from the Constantia Main Road wine estates, provides affordable transport through Hout Bay to the Atlantic Seaboard; Greenpoint Stadium and Urban Park, Table Mountain Cableway; the Waterfront and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Both the Atlantic and Indian ocean beaches for swimming, surfing and walking are only approximately 20-30 minute drive away. Local bars, restaurants, fast food outlets, supermarkets and shopping Centres can be located within a 550m to 3km radius. Public transport (7:00am - 6:00pm) is located within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance (Train; Bus and Minibus Taxi)
