Dinner and Breakfast available on request. Situated in the heart of many beloved Namakwaland locations, Middelkraal is just off the N7 and effortlessly accessible. We serve as a Serene Dwelling for Nature Explorers or Twitchers and as the Perfect Stop-over to or from Namibia. Our self-catering cottages (wheelchair friendly) each have a private lapa. Dinner and Breakfast can be arranged at an extra fee. Come and Experience this vast semi-desert situated under a blanket of stars that presents one of nature’s most miraculous occurrences during springtime when Namakwaland exhibits the most beautiful array of botanical colours. Cloaked in a high plant diversity of which close to half of the plantlife in endemic to Namakwaland, this semi-desert is home to a variety of birds, reptiles and small mammals. Middelkraal lies in the Klipkoppe region of Namakwaland that is part of the Succulent Karoo Biome. We are situated only 40 – 100km away from various tourist attractions like Skilpad, Hondeklip Bay, Kamieskroon, Namakwa National Park, Groenrivier, Springbok, etc. and comfortably accessible for all vehicles. Middelkraal is 10km north of Garies and approximately 460km north of Cape Town International.
