Motswari is a luxury family-owned lodge located within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Guests can experience bush trails with trained guides and spend evenings in the wilderness, eating authentic open-air boma meals. The airy lodges at the Motswari Private Game Reserve feature thatched roofs, each equipped with air conditioning and unrivaled Savannah views from large wooden decks. They combine traditional décor with a designer touch and include a lounge and bathrooms with bathtub. The accommodations is relaxed and guests can benefit from an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Two game drives per day are included in the rates at Motswari, and occur at sunrise and sunset.

Scheduled daily flights between OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) and Hoedspruit / Eastgate Airport take approximately 50 minutes, followed by a 50 minute road transfer to the lodge. Scheduled flights between Cape Town (6 times a week) and Hoedspruit take approximately 2 ½ hours, followed by a 50 minute road transfer to the lodge. Transfers can be arranged from Hoedspruit/Eastgate Airport to the lodge at an additional fee.

Guests choosing to drive from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to the lodge are to make their own transfer arrangements – average travel time is 6/7 hours.
