Property info

Awash with natural beauty – you will feel the peace and energy flow from your head down to your toes. This lodge spills onto a covered wooden deck with a built-in braai from which to enjoy your farm breakfasts, lazy lunches and the sights and sounds of the Ndawana River for days. Pet-friendly, private and secluded from the rest of the farm. Downstairs: The main bedroom is en-suite and opens onto the deck. 2 twin bedrooms share a full bathroom. A fireplace is in the center of the open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room and opens onto the deck. Upstairs: A cozy loft-styled mezzanine floor with a skylight dormer window, has twin beds and a TV.

Enjoy stretches of the Ndawana River below the lake wall and 2 small, stocked dams. All within easy walking or driving distance. The Southern Drakensberg is home to the majestic Eland. For those with an interest in birds and indigenous flora and fauna; there are from Fish Eagles to Shell Duck, River Otters to Mountain Reedbuck, Everlastings to wild Agapanthus and Abelia scattered on our slopes. And all the delicate miracles of nature that exist in between. Footpaths, mountain biking, hiking and 4×4 tails. From rough and rugged to gentle farmland, there is something for the resilient and the hopeful. From Thaba Msila at Valley Lakes to Mount Sutherland at Pear Tree Cottage, our summits will put you on top of the world where you can inhale fresh mountain air, see your problems from a bird’s eye view and exhale your stresses.
