Situated alongside a lake, Old Mac Daddy offers quirky accommodation in a variety of holiday homes and refurbished vintage trailers. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, a guest lounge and a restaurant and bar. Free WiFi access is available. The trailers each feature a unique, themed interior designed by a local artist. They also come with air conditioning, heating and a seating area. The holiday homes are decorated with soft, muted furnishings and an open-plan lounge and dining area. They include a well-equipped kitchen. The restaurant, The Barn, offers home-made meals for breakfast and lunch, as well as a seasonal dinner menu. Guests can relax by the pool or go fishing at the lake. Bikes are available for rent, and a children's playground can also be found on site. Activities such as aqua zorbing, archery and team building events can also be arranged. Old Mac Daddy is located Elgin, 15 km from the town of Grabouw. Gordon's Bay is 35 minutes' drive away and Cape Town International Airport can be reached in 1 hour by car.
