Before making a reservation, please be advised we have two large dogs on the property. If you are not comfortable with large dogs it's advisable to book elsewhere, as we cannot lock them away. We take pride in offering a peaceful and relaxing stay at our property. Zero tolerance for noise, and loud music and no additional guest are allowed. We exercise strict pandemic-compliant cleaning procedures and sanitization, mask-wearing during all interactions, and safe distances applied with other guests. This will help ensure your and our health safety. Our suites are a modern 48sqm with quality, comfortable finishes. Kingsize bed, bathroom ensuite, kitchenette suitable for light meal preparation, sit-down dining area, and TV lounge offering only Netflix—outdoor patio with comfortable Adirondack chairs and a retractable awning for those hot sunny days. The property boasts a magnificent sea view, with an elevation that makes you one with nature. Witness the weather changes, rolling in clouds over the bay, beautiful sunrises, abundant birdlife and all this from the comfort of the oceanview suite. Our Garden view suite is next door and faces the garden and the lovely warm afternoon sun.
We have had the privilege of living in St Francis Bay for 26 years. I have always referred to St Francis as the best-kept secret! It amazes me that we have such an unspoilt coastline, a small population of earth-loving village people, and private and unspoilt beaches. We have enjoyed an active life, horse riding, cycling, tennis, beach walks and nature reserve hikes in our safe environment. Not to forget sundowners and sushi platters on the famous sunset rock. We are hunter-gathers and enjoy fresh fish and picking mussels off the rocks in preparation for that famous mussel chowde. ( Tide dependant Mussel experience available if interested) My vegetable garden supplies us with fresh produce and exotic herbs this makes St Francis a place you will never want to leave. St Francis is also a surfer paradise, whether you are riding the world-renowned Bruces Beauty wave or just learning. We can organise a surfboard hire and or lessons. .
Our quaint little village environment has a choice of upmarket restaurants and everything thing you need in the shops. We have a super SPAR, bottle store, dairy, butcher, chemist, lovely surf clothing shops, furniture and a kitchen outlet oh and two bakeries. The area boasts magnificent beaches and nature walk along the cape st Francis Wildside, we will direct you to the blowhole (tide dependant) World-renowned surfing spot, "Bruces Beauty," two excellent golf courses, tennis, squash courts and a village gym. Our canal system is also a must-see book a sundowner cruises relax and enjoy the view. The Port is a clean and a picturesque working harbour, home to calamari boats and luxury yachts, not to mention the resident seals and otters. Deep-sea fishing charters are bookable and moorings are available if you own your own boat. Restaurants have a world-class view and tasty home caught cuisine. If you don't feel like going out in a public environment I cater to gormet meals. Specialise with deep-fried L1 Argentinian prawns, battered sesame fish, sushi platters, mussel chowder and A-grade steaks. Served with garden vegetables or a fresh salad and roast potatoes.
