Welcome to Paulet Cottage 107 Paulet Street in KwaNojoli formerly Somerset East. The property was built by Lord Charles Somerset in 1820 as one of his first farmhouses, and 107 and Paulet Cottage are proclaimed National Monuments. Your cottage, was rescued and extensively renovated in 2023 to give you luxury accommodation but keeping all the Georgian cottage features inside and out. A new rear deck gives you space to relax outside, easy access to the gardens, a large braai area and secure parking. Your log fire will be burning and an equally warm welcome awaits on your arrival!

Paulet Street, is at the heart of historic Somerset East and artistic KwaNojoli. A short stroll away, passing many other National Monuments, is the magnificent Old Parsonage that is now our town museum and close by is the famous Walter Battiss Art Gallery - a must-see for anyone interested in modern art and the life of the King of Fook Island. Your cottage is nestled beneath the lush Boschberg Mountain, so if you are a lover of the outdoors, walk the safe scenic mountain trails or play a round of golf on our superb 9-hole course, located just minutes away. For birders this is an ornithological heaven and for the more athletic, run or walk our Parkrun on a Saturday morning. Or you can always just stay indoors, by the log fire, and cosy up to Netflix - with a great red from the cellar of the main house......
