Lovely log home with open plan living area, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large balcony with stunning sea views. Sleep 6, DSTV and gas barbecue, private undercover parking. Parties are unfortunately not allowed. You’ll love the house because it is rustic and homely, clean and fully furnished. With less than120 meters walking distance from the soft sandy beach via a wooden walkway, you always hear the ocean and can fully enjoy the sea while being at home. Walk, swim or fish for 12 kilometers up to the Kromme River mouth at Cape St Frances. It is suitable for couples, business travellers and families. It is 5 kilometers to Jeffreys Bay while you can relax in the peace and quiet of Houtboschbaai. The shopping centre is less than 1 kilometre away and has a restaurant, coffee shop, supermarket, hairdresser and bottle store. It is across the road from the Marina Martinique and Claptons Beach with lovely fishing spots and 3 restaurants to chose from. This is where whales swim up from Antartica to give birth in winter and pods of dolphins swim past. There is no better place to watch out for them than the deck of this lovely log home so bring your binoculars
Aston Bay is situated just outside Jeffreys Bay, world renowned for its safe beaches and surfing waves, with many different surf breaks, each possessing its own magic. We invite you to soak up the sunshine, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and have a wonderful stay. Temperatures are moderate all year round along the coast with rain scattered throughout the year. Our beaches have an abundance of shells, and are known for good angling. Hikers can enjoy many trails including the Cape St Francis Nature Reserve, Tsitsikamma Hiking Trail and the trails in the Baviaanskloof. Jeffreys Bay is the home of thriving handcraft industries. The surf culture clothing shops are synonymous with Jeffreys, and all their clothes depict a scene in Jeffreys Bay. Other venues include surf shops, hand-crafted leather shoes and hand-crafted shell art. We also have a large mall with shops, restaurants and entertainment. Jeffreys is the hub of the calamari industry of the Eastern Cape, and is thus in the fortunate position of being able to supply visitors with this delicacy in abundance. In case of emergency, doctors and nurses are on call at the Policlinic 24 hours a day
