Phomola Manor has been inviting guests since June 2021 . Phomola is located in the heart of the bush of Grietjie a Big 5 reserve. Morning and Afternoon Game Drives as well as Bush walks is available to experience the bush and wildlife up-close.

Property info

Phomola Manor is an all-exclusive ecotourism holiday home situated in a Big 5 reserve, Grietjie Private Nature Reserve and are part of Balule Nature Reserve, which means our reserve have open borders with Kruger National Park. The name Phomola, was at a moment of deep conversation between two banded brothers, getting three sheets to the wind of course, thought off, thought through and decided that will be the name of our humble guest holiday home. Phomola Manor is a small family run holiday home and at booking, for the duration of your stay, the manor will be exclusively for our guests use. Guests appreciate that the pool and braai area has a wonderful view, and at times, elephant herds, impala and giraffe can be seen crossing over the dry river on their way to the waterhole that can be viewed from the pool area. The hosts live on site, and are pleased to welcome and assist our guests upon arrival and during their stay. The Manor has 4 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and complimentary guest amenities and coffee/tee facilities and a bar fridge in each room. Two of the bedrooms are inside the Manor for ease of entry to the kitchen and lounge and two bedrooms are semi-detached, fully private, leading out onto the deck area and the pool. After cooling down and watching the sunset enjoy a late afternoon/evening game drive and experience the nocturnal animals waking and the sounds of the night come alive. Back at home return to the undercover braai area and start a relaxing fire and as the night starts to settle in and you hear an owl in the distance you might just hear a lion or two as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and if you are planning to stay a little longer, a chest freezer is also available. Phomola Manor is a self-sustainable lodge as we are running off-the-grid and completely on solar. Phomola........ means " Place of Rest"
