The gravel road into the farm is 10km and adds to the sense of arrival. A standard vehicle handles it fine with care; high-clearance is preferable but not required. Remi Lodge is best from June to September. Dullstroom winters are cold, clear, and still. The fireplace earns its place, the hot tub at dusk becomes a ritual, and the fly-fishing season draws guests who return year after year.
