House on Blyde offers self-catering accommodation and is located in a secure, fenced reserve in the Blyde Canyon. This splendid and secluded home is situated on the banks of the Blyde River, and will steal your heart with the tranquillity of nature surrounding the property.
We shall be available for your needs as far as we can and assist in any way possible to make your stay a memorable experience.
There are various Adventure Centres near us that you can try!! Elephant Experiences, guided Hiking Trail Trips and Micro Light Flights for the brave or a calming Boat Trip on the Blyde Dam or Hot Air Balloon Rides. Swadini Forever Resort is our next-door neighbour. On a clear day, the mountain views of Mariepskop will take your Breath Away!! We are about an hour and half’s drive away from the scenic Panoramic Route and approximately 70km from the Orpen Gate to the Kruger National Park. If you don’t want to travel into town (approximately 30 km away), we have a Convenient Store, Gas Station, Liquor Store and a Butchery just around the corner for your basic needs at Kampersrus. No public transport. Should you not have your own transportation, arrangements can be made in this regard.
