A paradise apart...nostalgic beach stays does not get any better than this along the Cape West Coast. I feels like world away, just 40 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. White washed stylish simplicity with beautiful private deck overlooking the beach, farm, village, national park - its got it all!

If you are curious of this beautiful part of our country (you should be!) and its people - then here's a cape-beauty-meets-the-ocean spot 40min from Cape Town Airport! This historic area and the famous 16 Mile beach in front of the cottage is famous for: - Sport (almost of any kind) due to its safe wide open space. Sand bicycles (fat bikes) for hire (pre-booking only) - A rustic beach restaurant only 150m from the front door of the cottage, is the only of its kind along the coast also popular for its beach weddings - Walk via the beach to village restaurants and coffeee shops - Beautiful walking trials along the salt pans or long scenic beach hikes around the village to view the various islands or to the national park - Darling, the art and culture must-visit town of the West Coast is just 22km inland - The cottage neighbours the West Coast National park - which heralds the world famous wild flower reserve Postberg and warm greek island style bathing waters of Kraalbaai.
