Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This quaint cottage will help you forget your city worries and give you time and space to breathe fresh country air. Walk in our gardens of over 300 Rose bushes, watch the sunrise or stare at the pink skies during our spectacular sunsets. Watch the birds from the outdoor area (the Boma) or the patio adjacent to the cottage and simply just be. Snuggle in our plush linen and dream sweet dreams under cozy duvets. 5 Mins from Nottingham Road and other attractions like restaurants, shops and markets and farm stalls. We welcome gentle quite guests that can appreciate a space in which you can refuel your soul and breathe in fresh country air, walk bear feet on soft grass or dip your toes into the pool on those hot summer nights or gaze at the fire as you drift your thoughts to what can be possible in your life. Rosedale Self Catering Cottage is a space to breathe and just be, a quiet with simplicity at its core.

We are a fun sociable couple. However, when it comes to our private time together, we are quite selfish and like to keep to just the two of us and our fur kids. Our best time of the day is when we are watching the sunset and birds bathing and feeding. We love to unwind around a fireplace or braai with a backgammon set at hand. Hospitality and tourism are in our DNA and have been part of our bread and butter for the past 15 years. Our hobbies are yoga, cycling, walking, hiking, traveling and staring at the ocean whenever we can. We love picking veggies straight out of the ground which we have planted ourselves and smelling the fresh country air. We love living in the country free from traffic and city stresses and enjoy outdoor activities. We do not allow parties on our property and therefor this is the ideal space to disconnect in order to connect. We welcome guests that are quiet and simply enjoy being and refueling on fresh country air.

As this is an agricultural neighborhood the only noise comes from birds and cargo trains in the distance. The Midlands Meander is a unique country getaway. It's ideal for golfers, birdwatchers, mountain biking enthusiasts, hikers. Also, very entertaining for those loving arts and crafts and to experience a multitude of cuisines, such as German, Argentinian, Italian, French and true South African. You can taste it all. Come and experience the freshly baked patisseries, organically grown veggies at farm stalls and hormone free butcheries for the best meats you will ever taste.
