We work in close collaboration with The Kindergarten, The Waldorf School and The High School. Originally established in Pretoria in 1972, these institutions relocated to Rosemary Hill Farm in 1978. During the 80s and 90s, the focus was primarily on development, farming, and education, driven by a passion for nurturing both minds and land. In recent times, the second generation of the founding family has taken the reins, bringing forth a harmonious blend of commercial growth, enhanced hospitality, and an array of leisure activities that continue to draw countless visitors to the farm. Rosemary Hill prides itself on sustainable practices and a commitment to environmental preservation. Over the past 50 years, more than 100,000 trees have been planted, cultivating a vibrant ecosystem that thrives in harmony with the natural surroundings. Dedication to organic farming methods and the rejection of chemicals and pesticides ensure that the land remains pure and untainted, nurturing not only the crops but also the delicate balance of nature. Biodynamic farming methods are employed to harmonise with nature’s rhythms and cycles.
