We have Solar Power! Saffron Guesthouse has the very best location in Melville, and therefor in Johannesburg. We are very close to the restaurants and shops in 7th street yet quiet, spacious and comfortable. Off street parking is included and security is provided.

Neighborhood info

Melville is the vibrant and trendy center of Johannesburg’s bohemian life, it still maintains a buzz with a busy student population, great restaurants and funky bars. It’s also home to the lovely Melville Koppies Nature Reserve. Melville Koppies Nature Reserve was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its archaeological significance. Melville still boasts a terrific location – close to town, close to two universities (the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Johannesburg) and with the lovely Melville Koppies Nature Reserve on its doorstep.
