Satori’s is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, in the upmarket leafy suburb of Everton. The property, itself, flows directly down into the Kloof Gorge, with the crest of the Mpithi Waterfall just beyond its fence line. Safety and security are a priority in Everton and there are regular patrols in the area, as well as cameras located in strategic positions. The property is located approximately 4 kilometres from the M13 (also known as the King Cetshwayo Highway) and is the main thoroughfare to Durban and Pietermaritzburg and is a short drive to many of the facilities and attractions in the area. The elegant and spacious rooms offer garden views as well as views over parts of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The air-conditioned rooms come equipped with a Smart TV’s, unlimited Wi-Fi access, luxury linen and a coffee station, which includes a microwave, kettle, and bar fridge. A continental breakfast is served in the rooms. The spacious bathroom has a toilet, handbasin, and shower, as well as heated towel rails. The property has back-up power (for lights, TV & Wi-Fi) as well as back up water. Onsite parking is located close to the rooms.

Cindy Wattrus and her fiancé, Matt, reside in the main residence on the property. Cindy is a businesswoman and is the owner of Satori’s and Merely a Monarch, which is a manufacturer and supplier of quality bedding accessories. She has a passion for interior decorating and is an avid equestrian. Her horse, Capital Cherokee, was competing for Gauteng in July 2019 at Shongweni Club, and it was during her attendance of the shows that she fell in love with the area. She took the leap of faith and relocated from Johannesburg in July 2021. Her horse is currently stabled at Shongweni Club.

Everton forms part of Kloof, a leafy, middle- to upper class suburb and small town in the greater Durban area of eThekwini in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty renowned for the richness of its biodiversity. There are, for instance, ten times more tree species in Everton than in all of Europe. Kloof is synonymous with the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. It is a great attraction for those who love the outdoors. It was established by the Natal Parks Board in 1950. The reserve is known for its abundance of flora and fauna, including 50 mammals, 253 bird, 35 reptiles, 150 butterfly, 273 tree, and over 1500 plant species. The Kloof Gorge is part of the 4.47 square kilometers Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. Even though there is so much to do in the immediate vicinity, for those that would like to wander a little further, Everton is a mere 20-minute drive to Durban, 35-minutes to Umhlanga and 45-minutes to King Shaka International Airport. Another great attraction is the Midlands Meander which is about a 90-minute drive inland.
