Scottburgh is situated 45 minutes south of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal. It is a quaint village nestled alongside stretches of shoreline washed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean with white sandy beaches, lush indigenous forests and magnificent rolling hills. Scottburgh is home to thousands of bird species including the brilliantly coloured Knysna and Purple-crested Lourie and a wide variety of waterfowl, vervet monkeys, dolphins and whales. Scottburgh is a thriving coastal resort and a perfect holiday destination. With a year round sub-tropical climate and warm waters, it is an ideal snorkelling, swimming, diving and surfing destination. A main appeal lies with Scottburgh’s sheltered bathing beach named Scott Bay. The beach boasts a vast expanse of terraced lawns and expansive sandy beaches as well as an inviting tidal and paddling pool.
