Neighborhood info

Famed for its scenic views and only a stone’s throw away from Port Elizabeth, the village of Seaview has earned its name. The area consists of three coastal villages (Beachview, Seaview and Kini Bay) with 800 residential properties between them, of which many boast magnificent views. The villages also have a few holiday homes available. Situated roughly 25km west of PE, Seaview offers many attractions such as Maitland River Mouth close by, scenic sand dunes, and the Seaview Game and Lion Park. Featuring more than 40 species including lion, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest, the park also has enclosures for crocodiles, meerkat, genet and caracal. Excellent whale-watching is possible in Seaview as they come relatively close inshore from about June to year-end. Dolphins, too, are a frequent sight. Besides the picturesque surroundings, living in this area offers peace and tranquillity. Seaview is low on crime, and children still play and walk on the streets.
