Our property is situated right ON the beach of Kini Bay in a garden of trees and palms which is unique this close to the sea. The sounds of gulls and different birds can be heard as well as the call of frogs in the small piece of wetland ...each in the correct season. Snorkeling right in front of the accommodation needs a wetsuit in winter as well as rock shoes as these have to be negotiated to reach the different gulleys. Discuss with hosts who know the tides and safety factors of these waters. If unable to negotiate the rocks, there is a small sand gulley 7 mins walk along the beach to your left. South Africa is a place to barbecue (braai) so each flat has its own braai place. The flats are not serviced daily so prior notice needs to be given to arrange for this. Channel TV (dstv) is only available in the 2 largest flats - Studio with oceanview and Holiday home.
We like to be here for our guests if they need or want to know anything, otherwise you will enjoy complete privacy. We need to know e.t.a. to be able to greet you or arrange for a key.
Peaceful describes our neighborhood. grocery shopping is 3km down the road. There are bars, restaurants, game farms, horse riding and the Addo Elephant Park (big 5) is 50mins away. The Port Elizabeth beachfront is 35 mins drive, the Port Elizabeth airport is 25mins drive.
