Springvale Farm is a private country escape, nestled between the small picturesque towns of Nottingham Road and Rosetta in the KZN Midlands. We now have five private cottages which have an authentic working-farm feel and harmoniously share their restored interiors with old world charm and contemporary trappings. Wilde Als Cottage - this cottage beats all expectations. Set away from the other cottages, it offers more privacy and space than you could dream of. A spacious stoep with sweeping views of the natural bush, a fire pit and a fun farm style hot tub, as well as an outdoor shower. Sleeps 4 people. Ouhout Cottage - this special simple cottage, the first cottage on the farm, comfortably sleeps 6 people. Simply decorated with a large open living area, comfy beds, a wood burning stove and a farm style hot tub! Sunflower Cottage - situated on a working dairy farm with plenty of animals in the mix – paradise for small kids and also for adults feeling jaded from city life. Sunflower Cottage with its fine linens and comfortable beds, sleeps 4 people. The Red Cottage - big on style, this tastefully decorated cottage with a verandah which is smothered in morning sunshine, sleeps 4 people. Inkonyane Cottage - Inkonyane meaning "little calf" – is just that … its small and its cute. Set slightly away from the other cottages, this comfy private one bedroom cottage overlooks an orchard. Sleeps 2 people. Take a break and enjoy the tranquil settings of Springvale Farm and all it has to offer. There are a number of hiking trails on the farm which are great for running, bike riding (bring your own) or walking. The farm has a variety of wildlife so be sure to keep an eye out for animals such as Bushbuck, Reedbuck, Blesbuck and Oribi. If you love bird watching, you’ll love our vast array of birds.

A quiet country area that livens up on the weekends. With plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, breakfast places and pubs - there's a festive atmosphere in the town. Closely situated to Michaelhouse School and a multitude of wedding venues. Two excellent golf courses in the area too.
