The property is set below Otto's Bluff, just outside Pietermaritzburg, with extraordinary bird's eye views over Albert Falls Dam, the Karkloof Mountains and the Umgeni Valley. Seeing is believing! A short drive from Pietermaritzburg and you are in the countryside surrounded only by peaceful private games reserves and small farms comprising the Umgeni Valley. There is fishing and boating available on the Albert Falls Dam, with many cyslists cycling into the somewhat challenging but beautiful valley below the property. The Midlands Meander with its arts and crafts and restaurants is a short drive away for a day out exploring the area. Durban, Umhlanga and their restaurants and beaches are also easily accessible for a day out.
