From management to kitchen, from waiting to cleaning staff, we are all accommodating and helpful and enjoy hearing about guests' personal experiences. We are proud to say that most of our staff have been with us for many years including our chef that has been with us for more than 20 years. The farm owner pops around to the restaurant occasionally and joins in on chats with guests and clients. We all work together as a team to ensure that everyone that enters our gates feel welcome.

The property has a rustic South African bushveld feel to it with the main building and others built with stone and chalets and cabins built with wood and thatched roofs. We are nestles in the warm Thabazimbi bushveld with beautiful, scenic views. Join us for sun downers on the restaurant's wooden deck overlooking the swimming pool, kiddies play area and bushveld. Our grill chef is known in the area as the best around town. Ask for the chef specialty and you will not be disappointed.

Marakele SANS National Park is an experience well worth doing, if not for the game viewing but for the beautiful Waterberg mountains and scenery. Do the “Adrenaline Drive” to Lenokeng view point at 2080 meters high. This drive has steep drops with breath taking views. The road is paved and traversable by any vehicle. A foot path takes you to the view point where Cape Vultures nest in the nearby cliffs and fly majestically in the convection currents over head. Spectacular photography for those enthusiasts. Marakele Animal Sanctuary, near the reserve, offers close encounters with various big cats and other animals and is well worth the visit. 4 x 4 and Quad Bikes tracks are available on a local reserve located only a short distance from Thabazimbi. (Day visitors) Golfers can enjoy the 9-hole Bushveld gold course with wildlife on the green or spend time at a Spa and Wellness Centre in Thabazimbi, which has shops, banks and other retail outlets nearby.
