Goat House Cottage is a charming self-catering holiday retreat in Wakkerstroom, within easy reach of the town center and nearby restaurants. The building, formerly home to the popular Goat House Kitchen Deli and Padstal, has been lovingly restored into a tranquil cottage. Distinctive blue door leads to complete privacy and a few delightful surprises. The cottage accommodates 4 adults providing a peaceful escape surrounded by beautiful gardens. The cottage features 1 bedroom with a king-size bed and a separate bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The living area contains, 2 three-quarter beds. The rustic, farm-style kitchen is fully equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, kettle, air fryer, traditional wood-fired brick oven, microwave, toaster, double-door fridge, and cutlery and crockery. The living area includes a dining table, comfortable seating, a separate study with a beautiful view and sliding doors leading to a little garden... there is also a fireplace and slow combustion fireplace just added for the cold winters. There is a cozy patio and an outside braai area with a Weber and a quaint garden. The Cottage has secure parking behind a gate for your convenience. A separate study offers a comfortable desk and chair, reading lamp and lounger. The cottage also has a private patio at the entrance behind the blue door, with a small garden, comfortable seating a dining table and chairs. At the back of the property, guests can enjoy a Weber braai and outdoor seating. Safe parking behind an electric gate at the side of the building, away from the street. The Cottage is 100% Solar powered with a Gas geyser for the shower and bathroom. Please be mindful of power consumption and any electric heaters will drain the power rapidly. There are electric blankets on all the beds Guests can also light the fireplace to stay warm on Wakkerstroom’s cooler days or evenings,

I love people, am kind, amiable and try to live each day to the fullest. Also, I appreciate the littlest of things and make time to listen to spend in nature. Here in this little town with its slow life I live my life to the fullest no pretending, free to be who I am, which is a true reflection of who I am and want to remain. .."COUNTRY HOSPITALITY...ALWAYS"!
