Explore and unwind. The Loft is a spacious, self-catering apartment between the towns of Sabie and Hazyview. It's perfectly situated for trips into South Africa's famous Kruger National Park, and for exploring the Panorama Route. Days can also be spent wandering around the farm, including a trail along the beautiful Sabie River, or enjoying the views from the Loft's spacious balcony. The open-plan Loft includes a bedroom, an en suite bathroom, a lounge, a dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large balcony. The bedroom's king-sized bed can be split into 2 singles, on request. Linen is provided. Although The Loft is better suited to two people, there is a daybed that can be used for a small child and a travel cot that can be set up for babies. The en suite bathroom includes a shower, basin, and loo. Towels are provided, as is body wash and loo paper. Books and magazines are available. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Cutlery, crockery, pots, and pans are provided. The Loft has a large balcony with wonderful views over the farm and the Sabie River valley. There are two sun loungers and a sun umbrella. A Weber (BBQ) is provided, however charcoal/firewood is not. The Loft is a private space, but it is located above the farm manager's house. It has its own entrance, and the space is for your exclusive use. The larger property consists of a few hectares of avo and litchi orchards but mostly of natural forest along a beautiful stretch of the Sabie River. There is a marked trail along the river. Guests are also welcome to wander around the farm. You may bump into little antelope, monkeys, and some beautiful birds. We are happy to recommend nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Groceries can be purchased in the nearby town of Hazyview. Please note that we pump water from the Sabie River. This is fine for bathing and boiling, but we recommend bottled water for drinking. We provide a 5l bottle on your arrival.

Although I own the Loft and the property it's on, I'm unfortunately not based on the property full-time. However, I have a good team there to welcome you. The Loft is situated above the farm manager's house. Although the space is completely private, the farm manager is available to assist you should you need. Either the farm manager or I will communicate with you before your arrival regarding your arrival time, etc. One of our other team will meet you to hand over keys. I am available to answer any questions you may have and to make suggestions of things to do and see in the vicinity. Please don't hesitate to contact me. The Loft is well situated to explore the Panorama Route and the Kruger National Park. The nearest town, Hazyview, has two very good grocery stores (Checkers and Woolworths Food), and there are several restaurants and coffee shops in the area. There is a tourism office in Hazyview where guests can find all the information they need on activities in the area. Guests can also purchase tickets and arrange guides. Access to the Kruger National Park is easy, and after a serious day of game-viewing, guests can unwind somewhere cooler and malaria-free.
