The Mountain Zebra National Park is only 12 kilometers out of town. Cradock has good restaurants and friendly people. The Dutch Reformed Church in the middle of town was constructed over 200 years ago and is a replica of The St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church in London. The Olive Schreiner House Museum, located in town was the residence of Olive Schreiner, the author of "The Story of an African Farm."
