The River Villa is a beautiful home surrounded by sprawling gardens, rivers, dams and pecan trees. A luxurious farm style getaway for families, workshops or retreats in one of Gautengs most popular countryside destinations. The River Villa is a 4 bedroom home on the Melody Hill estate in Seekoeihoek, Magaliesburg. The spacious French style farm house has a beautiful private courtyard, with a large dining table and pool table on the covered patios, all facing onto an eco-pool dam surrounded by reeds. The large lawn in the back garden leads down to the the Magalies River with a path and picnic/rest spots. The house features an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area and another private lounge/workspace both with fireplaces.

Magaliesburg is a beautiful piece of countryside that is just the right distance away from Johannesburg. There are lots of great activities in the area such as horse riding, bass fishing, gliding or just visiting the local brewery or cafe. Our neighbors Black Horse Breweries and De Hoek Country Hotel are in walking distance which means good food is close at hand but occasionally we experience noise from their weddings or functions. We all share access and care for the wilderness area on the hillside across the road from us. There is a maintained path which takes you up to a viewing spot and through natural forests and bush. The walk is approximately 40 minutes long.
