The accommodation you're looking at booking is a tree house situated 5m off the ground completely supported by the tree. It has a double bed, bathroom, unique shower in the tree, a deck, a kitchenette with a gas stove and basin, cutlary and crockery supplied. The tree house is located on a large plot of land with a big garden near a guest house that is also a museum of vintage technology. A Night at the Museum Guesthouse. The tree house is totally private. All visitors booking the tree house will be treated to a tour of the museum by the host, subject to availability. A beautiful view from the treehouse. One can sit back and relax on the deck with braai facilities.
I'm the owner of A Night at the Museum Guesthouse where the tree house is located. I'm a collector of all things that showcase vintage technology. From classic cars to antique clocks, cameras, telephones, valve radios, record players, gramophones, phonographs, projectors, motorcycles, steam engines, trains, sowing machines etc. I have a museum in which I showcase these items and the guest's who wish to see it only have to book a room, vintage caravan or the three house with us. It's such a unique place, you will never find another place like this one.
Situated in the countryside, we are surrounded by great places to visit. We are about a 20min drive from the birthplace of humankind situated in the Cradle of mankind. We have a botanical garden nearby, Happily Island Waterpark, The Rino and Lion park, Hartbeespoort dam. All great places to visit.
