Bushvilla Umoja Kruger - wildlife without fences! Since we are only 100 mtrs from the Kruger fence, most every Kruger animal roams through this nature reserve. Often guests come back from the neighbouring Kruger only to see that what they saw there is roaming around in your own garden! The ultimate wildlife experience that you otherwise pay a lot of money for at private game reserves. Self catering house with hotel amenities, housecleaning, breakfast and dinner pack options, and concierge service. Everything to enhance the ultimate holiday feeling. Perfect for a short overnight but best for at least 3 nights or longer (all our guests tell us that!) in which you can go to the Blyde Canyon/Panorama route, Hoedspruit sanctuaries, Tzaneen area (Magoebaskloof/Cycad forest), Mid-Southern Kruger and Nothern Kruger, all from one spot.
Hi, we are the Settels family. Serge and I, Chantal, have (and still) travelled many years through South Africa and fell in love with the country and mostly, the wildlife. So if you book with me, I can help you not only to make your stay at our place the best experience ever with tips and help on excursions and things to see/do, but I am more than happy to share our experience with you with tips on the rest of your itinerary and things to see and do in South Africa, with or without kids. We strive to give you the best holiday possible and we try to do that by personal contact with all of our guests. So feel free to ask me about tips or your trip so we can make you fall in love with the country as much as we did.
Of course this house is for the ultimate Bush-lover but also for the more active holiday-seeker. Within max 1,5 hrs drive: walking safari, mountainbike safari, game driving, microlight flights, tubing, canoeing, kloofing, hot air balloon flights, horsebackriding, ziplining and more. Umoja is also perfect for birders (in the garden!) as well as pensioner escaping the European cold weather (golf at 7 km) as well. Children of all ages are more than welcome, however, it is a nature reserve and for toddlers beware: we do have a private splash pool on the terrace.
