Add some adventure and romance to your holiday with a packed picnic hamper to enjoy in our giant heart in the field, down by the river, or packed away to take on a hike. Alternatively, cozy up under the stars with our stargazing hamper, complete with sweet and salty snacks, a selection of wine, and a warm beverage. The best way to enjoy the country side. Catered breakfast and dinner can be accommodated for with advanced notice and an additional cost. Take a break in the comfortable stone cottage. Lounge on the patio, enjoying the views by day, and at night gather around the fire pit or braai (Charcoal BBQ). Inside find a fully fitted kitchen with everything needed for self catering. In the main bedroom there is a king size bed, full bath, and indoor fire place. In the second room, twin bunk beds, and a queen bed. After a days adventure you can retire comfortably in hotel quality linen for a peaceful nights sleep.
I have been working in hospitality for 15 years, but my heart has always been in the Drakensberg. I have hiked every peak in the Southern Berg, and now finally I can call it my home. My wife and I have purchased this property and l look forward to creating an unmatched experience for our guests. We love to hike, braai (bbq), golf, and river tube in the area, and would love to offer our recommendations
We are located 30km from Underberg down the paved Drakensberg Gardens road. In our immediate area you will find a plethora of activities to do on site, or to explore. On site you can order a picnic basket and have it set up down by the river, in the field, or even just on your veranda. And if it isn't too chilly at night, you can order a stargazing package, filled with snacks, hot coco, blankets, and more. Down the road you can drive Ukuhalmba Drakensberg Transfronteir park and hike to 3 different caves, or just enjoy the beauty of nature. Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens Resort is right up the road with a beautiful 18 hole golf course, putt putt, 3 restaurants, and a spa that all can be accessed with a day visitors fee. Across the road you can hire a horse ride, or a small row boat for fly fishing. You and your party will never be short of activities to do!
