Set in 3 acres of indigenous garden, the main property was built in the mid 1930's. Set back from the main road, there is a host of bird life in peaceful surroundings. Relax by walking around the garden, sitting on the swinging chair set higher up on a small kopje, or by going for a swim in the warmer months.

We are a family of four. Our two daughters are Sian, 13, and Ellie, 9, We are both teachers by profession, although Bryony is also a writer, having published one book and about to have a second book published. John fixes pianos and loves old cars.

The neighbour hood is very quiet. Locally, there is a small shopping centre about one km from the house. Hillside Dams and Mabukuwene aloe gardens are close by. Hillside Dams also has a restaurant and a short drive will take you to Banff Lodge which has a very pleasant restaurant, pool and bar. Bulawayo city centre is a short drive where there is a wealth of things to do and see: art galleries, cafes, historic buildings,and museums. The Matopos are 25 km away, where you may stay in National parks accommodation, visit the game park and caves, and take spectacular walks amongst the balancing rocks.
