This was our second overnight stay in 5 days. When we left previously we looked forward gleefully to our return. We arrived in mid-afternoon to find a regular group of locals involved in games of bridge. Our host interrupted his hand to show us to our room. Our meal that evening was exceptional, and the craic was mighty. When we left the next morning we felt like we were leaving family. Probably one of the best b&b experiences of our lives. Thank you

The rooms were lovely, clean and we loved that they were old with the wooden ceiling beams. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious and the location was in a gorgeous village.

The majestic 17th-century Cromwell Hotel is in the center of historic Banbury. It has limited free parking and free WiFi.

I booked one night here while I was in town for a wedding, because I had a music composing deadline I had to hit before the event. I stayed up most of the night and still had work to do when I checked out the next morning, and not only did the staff let me hang around the hotel to work, they set me up in a quiet room and checked in on me regularly, offering me coffee and offering words of support and encouragement. I couldn’t have hit the deadline without their help, and I was really touched at how willing they were to help me out. Can’t recommend this place enough! Also the room was really nice, had a good desk, a perfect spot for what i needed it for, and the food kicked ass, I had fish and chips for dinner and full English breakfast the next morning.

The very friendly staff.made for such a good atmosphere in the pub. Good food. An excellent place to stay.

The food in the evening and breakfast was fantastic. The room was a good size with everything you need. A great selection of drinks available. The local brewery selection was very nice. Each member of staff were very friendly and helpful.
