Everything: the location was great, quiet yet close to the centre and all the main attractions; the facilities were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities; the toiletries provided were quality products; they gave the cleanest toilets in all of Malaysia, as some people mentioned (they clean the toilets all day long)! But a very special mention must be made to Francis and his family, who are incredibly kind, warm-hearted and welcoming. They made us feel right at home from the very second we stepped in, and continued to do so every day that we spent there. We spent 5 nights there and they gave us a room upgrade for that reason - this alone made us feel so well, but then they continued showing kindness and good heart every day of our stay. We’re giving them a 10 because there isn’t a higher rating on Booking.com!

House was very spacious, it's good that there's a room downstairs which is more suitable for elderly who are not able to walk up the steep stairs. Also love the owner's lovely gesture of providing us free kuih on our 2nd morning.

“The place was very clean. I had a room with a window and a balcony, and it was very comfortable. The location is close to the river and Jonker Street. The room was beautiful and extremely clean, and the staff were wonderful. I really enjoyed my stay.
