The chalet was beautiful, and very cozy. The view of the mountains was amazing, and we really enjoyed the quiet location. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything we needed was available.

Our stay at Madeline and Bernhard's cabin was absolutely magical! The views of Engstligenalp Falls were simply breathtaking and provided a stunning backdrop to our entire trip. Madeline and Bernhard were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Their local knowledge was invaluable; they gave us fantastic advice on scenic routes to avoid tourists before our departure, which made our onward journey so much more enjoyable. We were warmly welcomed with a generous offer of wine and beer upon arrival, a thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel at home. We also thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot pot. The cabin's kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and Madeline even took the time to show me how to use an Italian coffee maker – a skill I'll definitely be taking home with me! From start to finish, we truly felt like family. We can't recommend this cabin enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming, and memorable getaway. Hotel Bristol is a perfect hotel for a countryside getaway in the Alps. It is centrally located in Adelboden, very close to one of the ski lifts (5 min walking distance), and just a few minutes from the main street. The hotel is facing west side and you have beautiful views overlooking the mountains. From the top floor you can see Engstligenfälle, a gorgeous waterfall located just 5km from the city center. The hotel is very charming, it is an older building, but very well maintained, with all modern amenities. The hotel staff is very kind and informative. The breakfast is great, and the kitchen and restaurant staff is very hospitable too. Overall our stay was fantastic, and Adelboden is a perfect location from where you can even drive to visit other attractions in the area.

They had us at the entrance with their genuine, friendly smiles. The atmosphere is really cozy, and they pay attention to all the details. The afternoon snack is a lovely gesture. The view is astonishing from the pool, the restaurant, and the balcony, too. Best location ever. Our servers, Anette and Laszlo, were amazing! Everybody was helpful, sometimes even without our asking. Portions of food are more than sufficient and really tasty. Our dog loved the plush blanket!
