The room was dark, the AC was great, and the bed was comfortable. Everything you need for a good night’s sleep. Huang Peng, the owner/host was super friendly and helpful. He gave me a ride to a tailor and to breakfast. Highly recommend this place. It is up 125 stairs, so not accessible for some. But they assisted with luggage.

We were welcomed by the front desk. They promissed to bring us downtown. One staff in particular, Miss Tian Tie, had lots of good sugestions, like visiting a show, which was amazing. Then, around midnight, she went out of her way to arrange a car and driver to take us to Zhangjiajie the next day, with a nice tour of the Dehang geological park and Aizhai bridge. We had a great driver with a good sense of humor, communication throughout the day with google translate. A big thank you to Tian Tie!
