Kantawa is a stunning oasis. Our rooms was gorgeous, full of beautiful touches. The bed was a dream! The grounds are lush, quiet and border a flowing river. The spa is everything we could want, from wet & dry saunas to hydro massage loungers to hot tubs and cooling cascades. The staff is amazing, from check in, to meals, to spa services to check out!

It's in the jungle, the walk there it's an adventure by itself, still not hard at all. 20 to 30 minutes walk to the Zaino entrance of the Tayrona park, 30 minutes by bus to Santa Marta, 10 minutes to Poza encanto entrance and Mandiguaca beach from the mean entrance of the hostel by bus, 15 minutes by bus to El Rio Guachaca entrance if you want to visit the hidden waterfalls of El Saltillo. Staff are very friendly, funny and lovely people. Food is good, I don't drink cocktails, but I saw many drinking cocktail after another. I was traveling alone and expected to be alone the whole trip, but I met a lot of travelers from different countries in it and spent my whole trip with them even after leaving the hostel to explore the Tayrona park we stayed together. The great ambient there made it possible for me and others to share the trip in group. I CAN'T RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH, GO THERE AND SEE YOURSELF.

The room we stayed in was beautiful. The place is nice and chilled. The staff was very helpful and kind, they told us great tips for routes and places to get food. The whole place is very cute having a nice swimming pool, beautiful garden and very intimate and not at all crowded natural pools in a river 5min up the path. There is a restaurant next door, called doña Marta, which is a must. Local economic authentic food. Easy to get there with public transport. In conclusion, although it is a 10 min walk from the main road, it was definitely worth taking the time to find the place.

Totally everything! That magical place is the most beautiful place , its a real paradise. The views from all of the parts of this hotel is something breathtaking .The host was super friendly,kind and he helped to us with everything. With the information about the places about the transport and he always tried to helped us with everything what we needed. Our “cabaña” was tidy, nice decorated and with the small jacuzzi . Also they have there swimming pool what they always care about so is clean. You can also make an order for the dinner and they will prepare it for you :) and of course also breakfast. Drinking morning coffee from that place hits different ☀️ I fully recommend this place 10/10

stayed here for two nights, in order to visit Tayrona National Park for a full day. if you come here by public bus i recommend to get off at "Plaza Tayrona" and walk 10min to the hostel. it is a quiet, peaceful little hostel next to the river (swimming is possible). good wifi, good mosquito net, hammock, common areas, cold water shower. a tienda is nearby. more food options are walking distance along the mainstreet. we did a big hike in Tayrona NP (about 17km / 10.5miles): left the hostel around 8AM, went by short bus-ride to Calabazo entrance (Bus around 3K / community fee 5K / entrance fee depends on your nationality). walked all the way to Cabo beach, then exit in the afternoon at Cañaveral gate (shuttle to Zaino 5K) and walked back to the hostel. saw different types of monkeys along the way (including red howler).
