Well, we liked every single bit of our stay. The apartment was spectacular. The lake view was stunning. The lake itself was crystal clear despite the rain and partial thunderstorms. Our hosts have been nothing but amazing. Cheers to Andy and his family, they have been super cool and friendly. In short, we know where we will be next summer.

Breakfast and dinner were really great - breakfast had everything you could wish for. The fact that the room also included access to the local thermal baths and sport facilities was a big bonus.

The Aktivhotel Gasthof Schmelz, a still genuine Bavarian inn, is located in Chiemgau, right at the gateway to Berchtesgadener Land. in a beautiful valley about 1.6 mi outside of Inzell.
