Beautiful property! Quit, lots of humming birds and beautiful foilage. Amazing staff, went out of their way to accommodate us. Definitely planning another trip back!

A beautiful, serene place to relax and enjoy nature. The grounds are immaculate and rooms big and beautiful with rainforest air flowing through. I saw toucans and many other birds, fish in the pond, guatusas, beautiful flowers. There are trails, pool and nice sitting areas. Amazing peace and tranquility. The breakfasts were all different, delicious hot meals made fresh every morning. The hosts were wonderful and took care of everything needed, as well as helping with recommendations and information. I highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay, so happy to find it. The transfer from Quito was excellent. Reception on arrival were very welcoming. We loved our room from the moment we arrived. What scenery. The hummingbirds while you eat at the restaurant are amazing to watch. The restaurant always provided good food for breakfast lunch and dinner. It was a very serene place to stay with views across the valley. Lots of bird watching apart from the hummingbirds. Staff were always helpful. Township was a 30 min walk but ubers/taxis were easy. Needed to use google translate a lot as no-one spoke english, which was totally fine. Lots of locals staying from Quito which indicates how good it was.

This property was absolutely amazing! We had the best time! The staff was incredible and the location was stunning. We loved the covered patio, the jacuzzi, the hummingbird bird feeders, the entire property was amazing! Thank you Sebastian and Edith for making our stay so special!

The place was great, the setting felt private and tropical, but was an easy walk to "downtown" Mindo. The complimentary breakfast was brought to our suite and it was a good variety and well-prepared. Our host, Antonio, had excellent recommendations for attractions, food (our family is vegetarian), shopping and nature. We felt very well taken care of and it seemed like he knows the best spots. The hummingbird feeding was definitely a highlight! We also enjoyed the cable car ride & waterfall hike, butterfly house and a chocolate tour. Antonio was very candid when answering questions about Mindo, Ecuador, politics, culture, etc. The owners are still working on building out and improving the property, but it was clear that it's only going to get better. So nice to stay in nature, rather than right in town. We enjoyed seeing the motmot birds that came down in the morning to eat bananas (and cheese!) and also saw an agouti. Plus, listening to the frogs in the evening was delightful. Antonio gave us a personal tour of the property and told us about the local plants they have cultivated. Very nice stay and exceptional hosts. We would love to come back!

Beautiful property with great birding on site, and an excellent location to visit other birding hotspots in the area.

The Casa is located close proximity to the town. We had a car, but it was very walkable. The grounds were lovely and the staff were very kind. They even gave us a room better suited for 3 single people. They even helped us arrange a night jungle tour the day we arrived. I would definitely stay here again with friends or as a family. Our breakfast was amazing and more than we expected. They were even very accommodating to my vegan friends.

Everything. 😊😊 There was a problem with our choice of accommodation due to recent storms and we were upgraded to a very comfortable three bedroom house, which was spotless clean and comfortable, From the time of booking the lines of communication was excellent, the staff were friendly and very attentive. The meals were first class. This property is a little out of Mindo but just a short taxi ride away but the location was perfect for our 4 day stay To Sol and her staff, thank you 🙏

Cerca al centro Kitchen equipped. Coffee machine. La cocina bien. Maquina para pasar café, refre, platos, utensilios etc Bathrooms with soap, towels, toilet paper etc Tony was very responsive to our needs, he also arranged a Canyoning tour and transport for us on very short notice. Tony muy atento. Se puede organizar actividades con Tony.

The place is new and clean. We loved the design. The kitchen had more than the typical utensils/cookwear/etc. for a rental property. Host was very attentive to our needs and flexible with us. jacuzi was a nice bonus although the water temp dropped the second day and wasnt warm.

I booked a stay at Casa Colibrí for my girlfriend and I’s one year anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. When we arrived, we found “Feliz Aniversario” spelled out in rose petals on the bed. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made the night feel really special. Mariela was incredible and went above and beyond. She was at our beck and call for anything we needed, and her attention to detail made the whole experience seamless. On top of that, everything was absolutely immaculate. The property is spotless and beautifully maintained. This was exactly the romantic, memorable experience I was hoping for, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. I cannot recommend this property enough!
